Pilar Marqu\u00e9s and Lara Mart\u00ednez attended the solemn ceremony organized by the Madrid College of Nursing, sharing emotions at a historic event dedicated to one of the most important figures in nursing at both national and international levels.<\/p>\n

Marqu\u00e9s was appointed by the 40+ Nursing Group to represent Mari Paz Mompart\u2019s pupils in the speeches delivered during the ceremony. She highlighted Professor Mompart\u2019s ability to demand the highest humanistic rigor from her pupils within the nursing profession: \u201cRigorously humanistic, she taught us that techniques can be automated, but that true care requires understanding the human condition, with its history, its pain, and its dignity. She encouraged us to move forward with boldness and to occupy the professorships and decision-making positions that were rightfully ours.\u201d She also emphasized her ability to convey calm with a single gesture and to inspire a movement of courage in leadership.<\/p>\n
