The SALBIS research group participated in the last edition of the European Researchers’ Night in Ponferrada, with the “Workshop on Conscious Nutrition” activity, aimed at children over 6 years old accompanied by their families.<\/p>\n

The workshop, developed by the nutrition outreach group Nutrisapientia\u2014made up of students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the Ponferrada Campus (University of Le\u00f3n)\u2014proposed an original journey through the “universe of additives.” Participants had to pass various tests guided by the students, and with each challenge completed, they completed their “space passport,” which gave them access to a prize at the end.<\/p>\n

The initiative was a resounding success, with dozens of children and parents enjoying learning about the importance of additives in a fun, participatory, and responsible way.<\/p>\n

This workshop is part of the scientific outreach activities promoted by the SALBIS group, under the direction of researchers Natalia Calvo Ayuso and Gema Serrano Gemes.<\/p><\/div>\n
