{"id":8389,"date":"2025-01-02T18:47:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-02T17:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.salbis.es\/?p=8389"},"modified":"2025-01-02T18:47:00","modified_gmt":"2025-01-02T17:47:00","slug":"participation-in-the-asildem-conference-on-multiple-sclerosis-in-ponferrada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.salbis.es\/en\/2025\/01\/02\/participation-in-the-asildem-conference-on-multiple-sclerosis-in-ponferrada\/","title":{"rendered":"Participation in the ASILDEM Conference on Multiple Sclerosis in Ponferrada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 17th, Dr. Mercedes Reguera Garc\u00eda, a member of the SALBIS research group at the University of Le\u00f3n, took part in the\u00a0<strong>Dissemination Conference on Multiple Sclerosis (MS)<\/strong>\u00a0organized by ASILDEM at the Casa de la Cultura in Ponferrada.<\/p>\n<p>In her presentation titled\u00a0<em>&#8220;Moving Forward Together: Physiotherapy and New Strategies in MS&#8221;<\/em>, Dr. Reguera highlighted the importance of\u00a0<strong>postural control, balance, and gait<\/strong>\u00a0for individuals affected by this disease. She also presented the findings from research conducted over the past four years in collaboration with ASILDEM, the result of a partnership agreement that underscores SALBIS\u2019s commitment to knowledge transfer and improving the quality of life for people with MS.<\/p>\n<p>The conference brought together experts from various disciplines, creating a platform for exchange and learning about advancements in the comprehensive treatment of MS.
