Last February 11, our compa\u00f1era Enedina Quiroga went to the school La Inmaculada in Ponferrada to give the talk: Is it only investigated in a laboratory? : Nursing and social health research, on the occasion of the commemoration of February 11 as the Day of women and girls in Science.<\/p>\n
The paper delves into the figure of the scientific woman throughout history, showing the current need to continue breaking the existing gender gap in the field of science.<\/p>\n
Enedina argued that the research is not only produced in a laboratory and refounded the importance of sociosanitary research in the nursing discipline: “Nursing focuses its care on the individual, the family and the community, but not only from the physical aspect , but also from the psychological and social “.<\/p>\n
