This event brought together professionals, companies and institutions related to the computer sector.<\/p>\n<h3>Programm<\/h3>\n<p>The program of the event consisted of:<\/p>\n<p>19:30\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 Reception and Welcome<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentation of the event by <em>Mr. Jaime D\u00edez Zurro<\/em>, Dean of the Professional College of Computer Engineers in Castilla y Le\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Opening of the XI Night of Engineering of Castilla y Le\u00f3n. <em>Mr. Antonio Silv\u00e1n Rodr\u00edguez<\/em>. Mayor of Le\u00f3n<\/li>\n<li>Conference: &#8220;Cybersecurity as an employment opportunity&#8221;. <em>Tatiana Guti\u00e9rrez Marqu\u00e9s<\/em>. INCIBE.<\/li>\n<li>Act of delivery of the i3 2018 Awards, which recognizes the effort and work of those people, institutions and companies closely related to Computer Engineering in the field of the Community of Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/li>\n<li>Closing of the gala. <em>Mr. Vicente Matell\u00e1n Olivera<\/em>, General Director of the Foundation Center for Supercomputing of Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cocktail, it will be the meeting point and networking area that will allow to share knowledge and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Presents the gala of the XI Night of Computer Engineering: El Mago &#8211; Flehk.<\/p>\n<h3>i<sup>3<\/sup>Awards<\/h3>\n<p>The awards were divided into three categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Most relevant company in computer science, award obtained by the company\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indracompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>INDRA<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Best doctoral thesis in computer science, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpiicyl.org\/content\/premio-i3-2018-mejor-tesis-doctora\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">award obtained by<\/a>\u00a0<strong>Jos\u00e9 Alberto Ben\u00edtez Andrades<\/strong> (researcher of the SALBIS Group) for his thesis <strong>Semantic Technologies applied to the Social Networks Analysis in the field of health<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Computer Engineer of the year, an award granted to <strong>Jes\u00fas Fernando Rodr\u00edguez Arag\u00f3n<\/strong>, Director of MEGA in Spain and Associate Professor at the University of Salamanca.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the disposal
