Participation in the International Congress “Green Chemistry and Sustainable Engineering”
Our colleague Noelia Flórez Fernández participated from 22 to 24 July in the 7th International Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Engineering (GreenChem-26), held in Gran Canaria. During the conference, she presented two poster contributions related to the sustainable use of brown macroalgae and the application of environmentally friendly extraction technologies. Both studies are framed within the development of green biorefinery processes aimed at valorising marine biomass and obtaining ingredients with potential applications in the food, biomedical, and biotechnology sectors.
Participation in GreenChem-26 was a particularly inspiring experience, providing the opportunity to learn about innovative research in the fields of green chemistry and sustainable engineering, exchange ideas with international experts, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
