Bibiana Trevisson takes part in Pint of Science Sahagún with a session on foot care
Researcher Bibiana Trevisson Redondo, a member of the SALBIS research group at the University of León, took part in a new edition of Pint of Science Sahagún, held at Bar El Metro, with an outreach session focused on the importance of foot care.
During her talk, entitled “I walk, therefore I am”, Trevisson shared knowledge with the audience on foot health, injury prevention and the relevance of foot care in everyday life and long-distance walking activities. The session helped bring scientific and health-related content closer to the public in an accessible, engaging and participatory format.
The activity was part of the international Pint of Science festival, an initiative that aims to take science beyond traditional academic spaces and bring it into social meeting places, encouraging direct dialogue between researchers and the public.
Through this participation, SALBIS reinforces its commitment to science communication, health promotion and knowledge transfer to society.
