Silvia Pérez González
I studied Nursing at the University of León (1999-2002). My postgraduate training began in 2010, when I completed a Master in Nursing Services Management (2010-2012), then I studied a Master in Human Resources Management in the Company (2012-2013) and a University Expert in process management in clinical management units (2017), all at the UNED. In 2018 I studied a Master’s Degree in Research in Social and Health Sciences (2018-2020) at the University of León. In 2020 I studied a University Master’s Degree in Business Management (2020-2021) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). I was awarded a PhD from the University of León in June 2025, with the distinction of cum laude.
I started working as a nurse in 2002, in the field of Primary Care in León, as well as in Specialized Care in several hospitals, in the city of Toledo and also in León, both in the public and private sector. I am currently working at the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de León, as assistant director of nursing, having previously held the positions of unit supervisor in the radiodiagnosis, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine service of the Complejo Asistencial de León in the year 2023, and as head of the nursing functional area of central services and consultations, in the year 2024.
I have taught as a clinical associate professor at the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de León, in the year 2019, and also as an academic associate professor in the academic year 2023/24, in the subject of Nursing Services Management, in the Degree of Nursing at the University of León.
My line of research is focused on the study and evaluation of the competencies required for nursing management, as well as the use of AI in health management.
