I am a Family and Community Nurse Specialist, hold a Master’s Degree in Research in Health and Social Sciences, and am currently a PhD candidate in the Doctoral Programme in Health and Human Movement.
I currently work as a Nursing Research Support Nurse at Hospital Universitario Río Hortega (Valladolid, Spain). I have professional experience across different levels of healthcare, as well as university teaching experience in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and in research methodology training for healthcare professionals. My work focuses on nursing research, evidence-based practice implementation, and knowledge
translation into clinical practice.
I lead at my institution the Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO/CCEC) project, coordinating the implementation of Best Practice Guidelines across different clinical areas. I also coordinate the Nursing Research Group of the Valladolid Oeste Health Area.
I serve as a board member of the Joint Research Committee of the Valladolid Health Areas, the Research and Innovation Committee of the Valladolid Oeste Health Area, the Evidence-Based Nursing Subcommittee, and the Nursing Care Committee within the same health area.
