Meeting of SALBIS group members with researchers, managers, and clinicians at the Second International Congress on Active Management of Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is one of the greatest healthcare challenges of our time. That is why Arrate Pinto, Raquel Leirós, and Óscar Rodríguez, members of the SALBIS group, together with students and graduates of the Physiotherapy Degree program at the Ponferrada Campus, attended the II International Congress on Active Management of Chronic Pain held last weekend in Valladolid.
There, they met with colleagues from physiotherapy and other healthcare professions to share knowledge and experiences around chronic pain from a clinical, managerial, and research perspective. In fact, they participated with presentations on their research entitled “Is what happens to us normal and is there little we can do to prevent it? Experiences and perceptions of university students in relation to primary dysmenorrhea” and “Confidence in the movement capacity of people with chronic low back pain: a descriptive study.”
