“Networks, sensory routes and contagion of well-being in El Bierzo”.
Dr. Gema Serrano Gemes, researcher in the SALBIS group, and Dr. MªCristina Martínez Fernández (researcher in the HeQoL group), both researchers of the Cátedra ULEtech CIRCULAR presented the research project: Nature and Health in El Bierzo: Green Social Prescription, at the VII ARS Summer and VI Research Workshop last July 11 in Molinaseca. The project has been developed not only with the intention of becoming a relational experience capable of “creating a contagion of well-being” among people, but also as a way to improve health by being in contact with nature. This initiative is expected to have an important impact on the creation of wealth in the territory of El Bierzo.
The Cátedra ULEtech CIRCULAR intends to initiate pilots from the Ponferrada Campus to later transfer them to the territory. This initiative is evidence of the path of the Cátedra ULEtech CIRCULAR in which participates El Ayuntamiento de Ponferrada, El Consejo Comarcal de El Bierzo, BIO-3, Ayuntamiento de Cubillos del Sil, Ayuntamiento de Bembibre, Ayuntamiento de Páramo del Sil, and Asprona Bierzo.
