I am a University Full Professor in the Nursing Field. I work at the University as a professor and researcher in the Nursing Degree programme and in the Master’s Degree in Social and Health Sciences Research. I teach subjects related to management in healthcare organisations, health policies and networks.
I developed my PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the University of León with complementary training at the College of Gatton at the University of Kentucky. I have been a visiting professor at the University of Manchester and the University of Southampton.
I am currently Director of the SALBIS Research Group and a member of the CECAVIS group at the León Institute for Biomedical Research (IBIOLEÓN).
My research focuses on social network analysis applied to healthcare organisations and healthy habits.
I am a faculty member of the ULEtech CIRCULAR Chair, which focuses on well-being and the environment, with the aim of transferring knowledge and developing sustainable economic growth in the territory.
