SALBIS Group Researchers Participate in the 2nd International Congress of the Applied Nutrition Network for Female Athletes (RED NAMUD)
On 27 and 28 November 2025, the 2nd International Congress of the Applied Nutrition Network for Female Athletes (RED NAMUD) was held at Universidad Pontificia Comillas. This flagship event brought together national and international professionals and researchers, establishing itself as a key platform for sharing experiences, perspectives, and advancements in nutrition for female athletes. The participation of experts from various universities, research centres, and sports organisations highlighted the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of the network.
In this edition, the SALBIS Research Group was represented by Natalia Calvo Ayuso and Enedina Quiroga Sánchez, both members of SALBIS and the RED NAMUD network.
Natalia Calvo Ayuso contributed as a member of the organising committee, playing an active role in planning and coordinating the congress.
Enedina Quiroga Sánchez and Rubén García Fernández, as active members and collaborators of the network, participated intensively in the various scientific sessions and scheduled activities.
The presence of our researchers at this international event helps enhance the visibility of the Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree and reaffirms SALBIS’ commitment to excellence in research focused on the health and performance of female athletes.
